The POU Ogulin has been selected as one of only 10 projects to be presented at the international matchmaking event the Creative Europe 2026 – European Cooperation Projects call. The project Storytellers Without Borders was recognised among a large number of initiatives from across Europe and presented at a meeting attended by more than 500 participants from all over Europe. For us, storytelling and fairy tales are not merely elements of cultural heritage – they are more than we often assume them to be. Through the project Storytellers Without Borders, currently in development, storytelling is envisioned as a contemporary tool with real transformative power in society. It is intended to foster inclusion and social cohesion, support mental health and wellbeing, create space for working with people living with dementia and Alzheimer’s disease, facilitate the integration of migrants and intercultural dialogue, and develop innovative and digital (STEAM-based) and greening approaches in culture. You can find the presentation here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hlKycATvC0w
Therefore, we invite potential partners from the fields of culture, education, social work and the creative industries to join us. If you are interested in participating as a project partner, we kindly ask you to complete the partner questionnaire and contribute to the further development of the project.
